Bought £255 worth of Swiss francs
As always I had a great experience with this company. Ordered my currency on line, got a notification when it was ready to pick up. The staff in Barnsley branch are excellent, super friendly, professional and helpful. Wont hesitate to use them again as they do seem to have the best rates over the currencies I tend to buy and super fast if its a less popular currency as it was this time - swiss francs.

Bought £1,000 worth of US dollars
I collected dollars and returned the same dollars, not as much, but was told they couldn’t take one dollar as it was dirty!!!

Bought £302 worth of Czech koruna
I am very impressed with the service I have received from No 1 Currency both over the phone and in branch (Crossgates) when Angela served me. When I compared rates using the money saving expert website they had the best rates available. They were able to confirm that the money was in stock and reserve it for me over the phone. When I went to collect I unfortunately left my purse but had my phone. Angela very kindly split the order into 4 so that I could use my phone to pay rather than a card. I recommend and will use their service again.

Bought travel money
Most awful company. You reserve money & it turns out staff can just close the shop for breaks whenever they want with nobody manning it, so you turn up (within the online opening hours) and can’t collect your money. Also note that the break was an hour and a half, not just 15 minutes. When you complain they tell you it’s company policy & it’s my fault. How ridiculous. I will continue to complain until I get a satisfactory response.

last year we went on a Far East tour, so with 4 different currency's the shop staff were very helpful.
